Vision-X Off Road, has developed the ultimate “Race Ready” HID off road light. The HID-8500R has

all of the same features of its predecessor; die-cast aluminum housing, borosilicate hardened glass lens, internal ballast and knurled aiming knobs. In addition a 100% optically pure polycarbonate cover with butyl rubber dust gasket, top heim joint and grip tape base have been added to make the 8500R the only true “Race Ready” light on the market.

The polycarbonate cover features a ridged trussed design, able to withstand impacts from rocks and road debris at 200 mph. The cover also features a butyl rubber dust gasket that will keep any amount of dust or silt from getting between the cover and lens. The top mounted heim joint comes pre-installed and ready to mount to any light bar. After the light is mounted and aimed, the 8500R heim joint gives the light stability to resist light chatter and shaking, giving the driver a focused stable beam pattern. Lastly, the grip tape base keeps the light from twisting after the light is securely mounted through any amount of vibration.
